Vulvar cancer is generated in the external genitalia of women, usually affects the lips and folds of skin outside the vagina. It can also form, although less frequent, the clitoris or the vaginal opening.

Vulvar cancer is rare. Among the risk factors are infection human papillomavirus, smoking or a history of cervical cancer.

Women who have this cancer have symptoms such as itching around the vagina for years.
