The TomoTherapy is a technique of image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT) which has a high-tech equipment in the treatment of cancer radiotherapy techniques allows high precision. The TomoTherapy combines image-guided radiotherapy rotary and linear accelerator that performs intensity modulated treatments. This technique is indicated in all kinds of tumor pathology, especially in the head and neck, brain, prostate, lung or liver metastases, spinal tumors and certain pediatric tumors.
