Rectocele
A rectocele is the descent of the rectum in the vaginal canal. The weakening of the muscles that comprise the pelvic floor is the main cause of rectocele. It may be accompanied by decrease of the bladder and decrease the uterus. They not always develop symptoms but the most common are pain during intercourse, constipation, pelvic pressure and feeling a lump in the vagina. Rectocele has several causes, the most frequent are multiple births, the repetition of exercises that increase intra-abdominal pressure and decreased estrogen during menopause.
