Chondrocalcinosis
Chondrocalcinosis is excessive accumulation of crystals of calcium in bones. The knee is the area which is usually more affected by this disease, although it is also common in other joints and bony areas. Typically it does not cause any symptoms or any discomfort in patients, therefore only be seen by X-ray. In this test, the primary evidence of the existence of chondrocalcinosis is a white line in the cavities of the bone ends.
