Painful foot
The term encompasses all painful foot problems that can cause pain in any part of the foot (heel, arch, instep, plant or fingers). The foot pain can be caused by a condition only developed locally, for example, plantar fasciitis caused so much pain in the foot as pain in the heel. Other injuries also generate pain in the area are bunions, metatarsalgia, ram, flat feet or tripe. Also, the painful foot can be another sign of other diseases such as diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, vasculitis, gout or neurological diseases. Treatment depends on the cause and type of injury caused but can include everything from physiotherapy to orthopedic footwear or foot surgery in severe cases.
